Hulk Hogan opened Raw's 30th anniversary a little more than a week ago. A short appearance from The Hulkster to hype the crowd. Although not on camera for long, Hogan seemed fine. That's why claims from Kurt Angle shortly after the show after the Olympian spoke with his fellow Hall of Famer that Hogan could no longer feel his lower body came as quite the shock.

Hulk Hogan Can Still Feel His Legs

Angle claimed Hogan had been walking with a cane and that when they spoke, The Hulkster revealed due to nerves cut during back surgery, he could no longer feel his legs. Not only a shocking reveal from Angle, but also a somewhat confusing one. While he didn't go into intricate detail, you'd have thought someone who can't feel their legs wouldn't be able to walk at all.

A representative of Hogan has attempted to clear up any confusion stemming from Angle's comments. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the rep claimed that everything is okay with Hogan. Not only did he assure fans that the Hall of Famer can still walk and feel his legs, but he also claimed the multiple time WWE Champion doesn't need a cane to walk around.

Was Hogan Joking?

That last part is perhaps the most surprising clarification as Angle insinuated he had seen Hogan walking with a cane, and that was presumably what led to the conversation about his leg issues. Well, the non-existent leg issues, apparently. Hogan's rep claimed The Hulkster is someone “with a lot of humor”, perhaps suggesting he was messing with Angle.

Hogan certainly seemed like his legs were fine on Raw as he walked out and spoke in front of the fans unaided. Away from wrestling, there's a belief, and perhaps a worry among some people, that Hogan is getting tied up in the world of scientology. Not only is the Hall of Famer dating a scientologist, but he was also pictured with Tom Cruise at an NFL game recently, furthering rumors he's involved with the controversial church.
