Kevin Owens is no fan of Texas. WWE fans have been well-aware of this since the build-up to Wrestlemania 38. Much to Kevin's dismay, the event was held in Arlington, Texas. In the weeks leading up to the show, Kevin Owens mocked and belittled Texas, going so far as to wear a silly cowboy hat to the ring and do an impersonation of Texas' own Stone Cold Steve Austin.

While his original plan was to feature Steve Austin on his talk show segment, the KO Show, Austin ended up challenging Owens to a fight and delivered Kevin a humiliating defeat.

The Feud Continues

If anything, Kevin Owens' disdain for Texas has only increased. The more recent episode of Monday Night Raw was held in Texas, and Kevin Owens was not in attendance. He tweeted out the following explanation:

I didn’t want to go to Texas so I didn’t go. Leave me alone.

A fan gave Kevin a hostile, rather xenophobic response. They said, "I am sure Texas didn't want your fat ass there either. Do us all a favor and stay in Canada." Kevin, not one to take this kind of trash talk lightly, gave a curt reply to put the fan in his place.

It's hard to blame Kevin for not wanting to return to the Lone Star State. The current political climate is horrendous, to say the least. Plus, Kevin is currently in a feud with Elias' younger brother, Ezekiel, and it's proving to be very stressful for him. Here's hoping Kevin enjoyed his time off and will be able to come back ready to fight.
