Interim WWE CEO and Chairwoman Stephanie McMahon reportedly addressed the situation concerning her father Vince McMahon during a recent company meeting.

Stephanie, who had likely intended to be out for a lot longer after taking a leave of absence in May, has temporarily replaced her father at the helm of WWE following his decision to step down in the wake of revelations pertaining to an investigation into his alleged misconduct.

All Hands On Deck

According to PWInsider, WWE had an “all hands on deck” meeting on Thursday. Stephanie is understood to have addressed the allegations and investigation. The publication reports Stephanie acknowledged that everyone is aware of the investigation then said that she loves both her dad and WWE and will be doing everything that she can to steady the ship in the coming days.

PWInsider also claimed that Stephanie has been “actively involved” in recent meetings which would have typically featured Vince. Despite stepping down as CEO and Chairman, Vince McMahon remains in charge of the company’s creative direction.

Not Happy With Bruce?

Vince McMahon voluntarily relinquished the aforementioned posts after the Washington Street Journal published a report exposing an investigation into McMahon paying $3 million to a former employee whom he had an affair with.

Head of talent relations John Laurinaitis was also implicated as McMahon is also accused of passing said employee to Laurinaitis “like a toy” after he was done with her.

Laurinaitis has since taken administrative leave, with Bruce Prichard stepping in as a replacement, much to the disappointment of WWE talent.
